5. This is the way it has always been.

The red states cut their tax rates down to almost nothing for their citizens so they can get the Blue states to fund them. They never carry a balanced budget because they know they will be bailed out. I've taken road trips and have driven in Red states where the highways were smooth like glass and in the Blue states the roads a crumbling away. I knew exactly were my federal tax money went, and I seethed in anger for every mile.

There is nothing fiscally responsible about Republican political or economic theory.
