selfless act was something I frequently observed among those living there. Too many have been politically bamboozled by RWers, teabaggers, and now Trump, but the basic kindness of this man and many of his contemporaries remain.

Very poignant.

They way people dish rural America makes me sad. I only saw kindness and compassion.

This was in the 50's. Kindness was contagious. The story of the farmer from Kansas brought me to tears and I don't tear up easily.

My Dad had a heart attack while harvesting our corn one year. The next morning while my mom was at the hospital with Dad 10 combines showed up with trucks and drivers to finish our harvest. My sister and I made lunch for all of them and took it out to the fields. That is the rural life I remember.

Cuomo always includes something uplifting that shows goodness and generosity. So needed these days.
