(114,676 posts)When he's on point, which is usually in New Rules where he doesn't have to massage some RWNJ blabbermouth's ego, he can be incredibly good.
Bravo for this one, for the Casablanca quote, and for pointing out Reade is basically bonkers without being a cad and saying so.
One hopes the troll wing o the RNC has paid her enough for a one way ticket to Moscow so she can discover for herself the kindness and caring of Vladimir Putin.

(7,968 posts)Reade lied to me and all other democratic voters. Last year she told us all he did was touch her hair and shoulders and he was not the kind of guy who would take her into the corner. Now this. She did not want us to know before we voted. She deliberately held back on the truth or on the lie. She doesnt give a shit about me. I couldnt care less about her.

(45,806 posts)usually quite on point & worth remembering. I only hope the majority of Americans adopt his "I don't care" attitude. I don't believe her for a minute and I read a list of claims she's filed against her employers since leaving the Senate. She has habit of filing these claims & I guess some o9f them have paid off, even if they were $$ to prevent a law suit. The other possibility I've thought about is maybe the Pubs are paying her to make this an issue to help DT in Nov. Possibility. hmmm....

(20,818 posts)Silly number? Yes. Silly thing for Democrats to get hung up about? Most certainly. Reade is not believable, yet Democrats waste time "investigating" her totally bullshit accusations. Let it die the death it so richly deserves.

(562 posts)Does anyone actually like this ex-libertarian?
Although, I sometimes disagree with him, I totally agree with everything he says on this subject. You seem to be in the minority here.

(15,526 posts)Like others on this thread, I will vow to take accusations seriously, and on this one say, "Don't know, will never know, not credible!"
We try not to miss Maher, and I'll tell you why. Some really dislike him because sometimes he is wrong, sometimes he's off in the ozone, and lots of times he makes us feel uncomfortable.
That's why I try not to miss - it is not a bad thing to feel uncomfortable sometimes. Sometimes, that's really good for all of us. A bit of cognitive dissonance in a good way.

I will see those issues as disqualifying the day his opponent is NOT someone with 20+ credible sexual assaults against him, including the rape of a 13-year-old girl!
