4. I think my favorite Biden campaign statement yet is the last one in this video.
Donald Trump didn't build a great economy. His failure to lead destroyed one.
That's the message! |

5. he has done worse than that...
He's allowed Americans to die while he was busy playing golf. I hope he DIES from this shit, TBH.

10. You can do both. "Dipshit" NEEDS to be called out & exposed.
Many people dont pay attention to things like DUers do. Or Trump minions. Negative ads work, whether they should or not.

12. "this is hillary's playbook." hasn't been a relevant reference for a while.
If it ever was at any time.
You ask what Biden's plan is. Do what? How he's going to "change shit". The answer to that is as simple as a google search. The republican talking points that you echo deserve the tag-line, "this is trump's playbook". At least that acknowledges the author. |

9. I'm not so sure
To be clear - I hope they are effective with voters. I'm sure that they have been piloted with a target audience. So, someone has signed off and sees them as effective.
But, (and just putting this out there) to me they sound over dramatic and over produced. The message is fine (obviously). But I wish there were more of a normal convo advertisement. Just someone relating that same timeline without the deep voice and drama. Non-movie like, if you will. Of course, this is just my opinion - and I hope I'm a big outlier. I want all democratic ads to help sway those in the middle (and, if possible, those on the right) ![]() |

11. I see what you're saying. Because the RW will post clips of Dems saying "dont worry"
There are plenty of them out there "go to the parade!" etc.
The difference that needs to be pointed out is that most of those Democratic leaders were getting their info FROM THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION |

13. Dammit. "Reality TV" is what most Americans watch and "learn " from.
DWTS, AGT, Comic Heros, etc. This cheap, lowbrow, minimally stimulating entertainment is what American society craves, apparently. The dumbing down of America has been the single most successful educational effort since the 3-R's.
Most voters ONLY pull their eyes from their smart phones long enough to refocus if it's dramatic, pornographic or screechingly heinous. They're NOT even going to show up at the polls unless they feel their life is threatened or they sincerely believe the situation for their personal interests is operable. Otherwise they will forget what they thought, vaguely noticed or recalled, on some past date. Hit the populace with all the ACCURATE drama possible from every possible media continually until they have voted and hope to hell (or heaven) the GOP hasn't out-staged us again. |

15. They should go out in Klingon as well.
Wouldn't want to miss the 'single males 58-59' demographic.
Seriously, I expect that "personalities, of any age" is the ideal standard to discern absorption susceptibility. Targeting based on purchasing history. Or maybe astrology. But people can always make a living interpreting polls. It's probably the ideal occupation for nitpicking Virgos with Volvos. |

16. I don't know
I turn this kind of thing off. Even with candidates that I like.
I just asked some of my friends on another page (all liberal) and they groaned (all younger). I'm sure this is effective for many, though ![]() |

18. Interesting. I wonder, are these friends already informed of the issues dwelled on by the ad?
If yes, It's pretty common for enlightened folks to prefer new and nuanced data. I propose that only enlightened people should have the right, nay, obligation, to elect our government. Informed voters all, would make Jefferson proud. But, to paraphrase Lincoln, "you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool them into believing 10% of the people know more than the majority do".
You know, it would be cheaper and less confusing to simply set aside a day when every eligible voter is required to cast their ballots instead of racing off to work per usual. Say you didn't vote on your government sponsored holiday? $50.00 dollar fine, gimme. But, sadly, most voters don't vote at all and many that do are so misinformed they shouldn't. So it's the adman game. Whoever gets out the most suckers to buy into their scheme wins. I groan as well. And it would be a sad epithet that, "so many didn't vote their own interests because the ads, though true, were so patently droll". |

I know. I was in denial over my hair cut. I'm not now. I feel like I've had a bucket of ice water thrown at me. It finally sank in.

19. I'll be honest, I don't care for it.
In the beginning, I know where they going at in trying to dismantle Trump's campaign argument to blame China entirely for pandemic/response and link with to China, but in a way it confirms Trump's argument that China is solely responsible. I'm afraid this ad may lead to more xenophobia. I think would be better to show how much Trump spend playing golf or going to campaign rally than preparing for this crisis.
Also, this ad is too long and people have short attention spans. That is why the Lincoln project ads are more effective. Honestly, Bloomberg's attack ads were better too. |

20. More ads the better, all say the same, " Trump is responsible"
And that is the total truth. 10 seconds or 2 minutes..."Trump is responsible"..
And that is the total truth ..."There was a warning, and Trump did nothing." I seem to have heard this story somewhere before? ... ![]() |

21. I think it's fucking fantastic.
I think the narration and the music are absolutely appropriate. Is is alarmist? Yes! Should it be? FUCK, YES! I mean, what the hell, people? I ran some numbers and posted this on Twitter yesterday:
I mean, what kind of ad do you expect in response to this kind of crisis? Sunshine, flowers, and butterflies? Maybe you'd like to have someone doing their best Bob Ross impression? Biden's ads have to be attention-grabbing, emphatic, and powerful. Nothing else has a chance to pop people out of their bubbles. It amazes me how inept that so many Democratic voters are at politics. |
