the usual suspects, hanging out - and onto - the bars. Barflies, who just didn't know what to do with themselves for two months, are again engaging in their favorite pastime: drowning their problems in casual, drunken sex, and withdrawing from reality at the bottom of a bottle. It's sad, really, that this is what their lives have been reduced to.
