I work in education and have been supporting a family who lost the father to deportation. It’s worse than dealing with a death. This is a deliberate attack on your family, and then you have the agony of him being just out of reach. You live each day not knowing if you will ever see him again.

Depression and anxiety just seem normal when faced with this sort of craziness.
