Prescott Bush, after all, managed the Nazis' Wall Street investments as far back as 1927 - so much so he was called "Hitler's banker."

So many GOP executives were on the Nazi bandwagon back then.

"Back then"?

And the worst part is, they're just as bad now (if not worse, in some cases).

I bet Fred Drumpf was a Hitler-humper too.

But this! This is...probably not going to be his OMFG moment of the week.

He'll top it. He always does.

guess that is why he had no qualms about building concentration camps for "undesirables."

Wonder what his dad did during the war?

about Ford, and processed it well enough to use it as a dog whistle.

Who briefed trump on Ford ahead of this visit, and made sure to emphasize this aspect of Henry Ford's history?

Because I seriously doubt that trump got that information on his own - I mean, can any of us imagine him cracking a history book and looking up biographical information on Henry Ford on his own?

Who is trump's Gríma Wormtongue?

think of. Might have heard about Ford years ago from his father, who would have been around when Ford was publishing his garbage and using slave labor from Auschwitz in his German subsidiary.

Or, he might have got it from from Steve Miller.

I agree that Stephen Miller would be an obvious suspect, I hadn't thought of his father - that would certainly account for trump having a deeply embedded opinion about Henry Ford in his consciousness.

is the only American mentioned by Hitler in "Mein Kampf." Hitler and the Nazis loved everything about Ford, and of course they were completely in agreement about "the international Jew."

Needless to say, Trump believes in eugenics, aristocratic "blood," and all the rest of the racialist pseudo-science of the 19th century.
