7. Rescue got it back

The Cocker rescue that she originally got the dog from has received it back from her. They said the dog is ok. The story I read was a little ambiguous about whether she took it back to them or they asked for it back. At least it's safe.

And yes, she should be charged with filing a false police report. We all know what could have happened to Christian Cooper.
