Her dad's name is Andy Shaw. I was trying to get some information on him (the father) being an MSNBC exec. (BTW, I'd be a little lost right now without Rachel, Lawrence, Nicole, and others). MSNBC is my go to station.

This is what I found:

Andy Shaw is an award-winning Chicago journalist who spent 37 years covering local, state and national politics, business, education, and day-to-day news at the City News Bureau of Chicago, Chicago Sun-Times, NBC 5 and ABC 7, before joining BGA. BGA is Better Government Association (Illinois).

I don't find anything that indicates he's an exec. with MSNBC. Anyway, could you post links what you know about him? I'm doing some research on a variety of issues.
