If nothing else (and I'm sure there will be plenty else), these demonstrations and demonstrators have exposed the corrupt police departments and their tactics.
I remember reading a long time ago, Israel uses the munitions we produce to test out on the Palestinians, and they even train many of our police force. I'm not positive how much of this is true yet today, but I suspect a great deal of it. Riot control munitions such as tear gas, rubber bullets, pepper spray and pepper shot, concussion explosives, etc. WE are responsible for this monster, and our fascist police departments structure needs IMMEDIATE attention and reform.
Unfortunately we gave the reich wing talking heads, fox/Putin propaganda network and the fascist radio hate spewers food for their minions. WHY on earth did we give them the slogan of "Defund our Police Departments"??? How fucking stupid do we have to be. You see, to these fucking idiots who only internalize slogans and catch phrases, this means "fire all police and turn the streets over to anarchy." Not at all. Why not refer to it as police reform?? The funding could be a big part of that, but to make it sound like we are all in favor of taking ALL police off the streets really makes us look fucking stupid.
We do need MAJOR police reform across this country. Not only do they have issues with racism and their unjustified tactics to restrain individuals (sometimes causing death), but they have definite issues, as evidenced by their response to these demonstrations, that their tactics are brutal and unwarranted. They have become thugs and aggressive animals toward the very people they are sworm to "serve and protect".
This needs to be addressed in a rational and intelligent manner...NOT with stupid fucking phrases that totally misrepresent our intentions. We look like a police state nation in these videos. I'm ashamed, but also afraid of police, thanks to the last two weeks of their behavior. It's obvious, something needs to happen...and happen SOON!!
