I've learned to recognize the style of the "thumbnail" title card (when it's displayed on the DU homepage, right-column) but when perusing the Video Forum (proper) I'm often disappointed to see it's another garbage navel-gazing video from Packman.

I'll be damned if I can figure out what his groupies see in him. But, he's not the only one who has more quantity than quality, and honestly I can't decide which is worse, the videos from this guy or the shouting videos from this Youtube channel: https://tinyurl.com/yaa8efdq (which are often posted in this forum too). Lots of clickbait there as well. The "thumbnail" title care often looks like it's going to be a straight-up MSNBC or CNN video clip... but it's not. It's just some loudmouth pundit giving pedestrian commentary about a news clip that's pretty much self-explanatory anyway. (Assuming the clip ever plays at all.)

That's an excellent idea! I may do that myself. --- Unfortunately, that will only block them when you're perusing in the Video forum. Those videos will continue to appear on the DU home page (right column). But, fortunately, Packman's "title card" thumbnail style is distinctive enough that you're not likely to click on them.
