Amoebas and flesh eating bacteria both inhabit our wildly polluted America. Maybe more so in the age of climate change and misuse of natural resources.
And that sheriff is a real thing too. Under investigation for corruption as we speak. Clay county just can't have nice things.

how bad it is esp. for St John's. I didn't connect it to brain eating amoebas, whatev.

There's so much pollution in that state and other places it's a wonder anything we consider wildlife can survive. It's fast catching up to humans as well.

normal to me, somewhat regretful. Obviously I don't know all the details nor is it my business, since I am one county away. But imo, this sheriff is a sleazeball with a bunch of bad history ...trying to distract. Gosh....hmmmmm...trying to think of who else does that.
