1. I think Dumdum might be facing LBJ's problem

but for a far different reason. LBJ realized the generals were lying to him about the Vietnam War, which is why he decided not to run for reelection, he knew he was working blind and couldn't do that part of his job.

People working in the WH are so terrified of Dumdum's tantrums that they're all lying to him by telling him a load of bullshit to make him feel better. He's living in a complete dream world with no idea what is really going on and, unlike LBJ, absolutely no desire to find out. He's a mushroom, kept in the dark and fed a load of crap and he likes it that way.

I mean, how can anyone reach Trump's age and still be so clueless and cringeworthy ignorant??

that he is truly stupid. He's not just ignorant, he doesn't have the ability to learn. He is a really stupid man.

4. I also think he's lazy. He's never had to work for anything, so he has had no need to learn

He's gotten through by lying and cheating for his entire life so he has no reason to change. And I think of the previous presidents I admire, Jimmy Carter - brilliant career in the Navy, nuclear physicist, historic treaty between Israel and Egypt, post presidency work ensuring fair elections all over the world; Bill Clinton, Rhodes Scholar; Barack Obama, Constitutional Scholar - and then we have Trump??

5. I always love to listen to Bill Clinton explain things

because he can take the most complicated things and put it in words that anyone can understand without making you feel like he's talking down to you. He can in Denzel's words "explain it to me like I'm a five year-old" without making me feel like a 5-year old.

6. I'm still honored that I actually got to hear him speak in person!

I still remember how it felt - I was hearing that familiar voice (and he is one brilliant speaker!), but he was right here in our little burg! It was a truly memorable experience...

Great show! Very funny! I love how these late night news hosts are dragging Trump's fat arse through the mud over this interview. I really hope he manages to watch some of them, but I am sure his "minders" will keep him far away as they don't want to see another tantrum.

Also, I am glad to see that Trevor is giving a shout out for poll workers in November. It's very important that we have plenty of people to man as many poll sites as possible. I hope it makes a real differnce.

Anyway, thanks again!

8. I think every single host - including MSNBC - has lambasted the Wallace-Trump interview tonight

That was even the topic of Andy Borowitz! They're also all bringing up the horror show in Portland. It's long past time that that they stop giving Trump a pass on his daily lies/lawbreaking/abominations. It used to be common for the late night hosts (well, Johnny Carson) to make jokes about whoever was president, but our hosts these days are really stepping up to the plate and calling out Trump's offenses on a daily basis! I'm reminded of Jon Stewart who said that we now have a whole generation who gets their news from a late night comedy show. And given the way our current late night hosts are keeping up with Trump, it's easier than ever!

9. Hah! That's pretty much the truth for him, isn't it? Sooner or later, he will be right.

It might be years from now, but eventually it WILL go away. I love Andy Borowitz! He just nails it every time.

11. But will there be any of us left? That's the question!

Meanwhile, other countries have gotten a handle on this, like South Korea! And our (former) allies in Europe who are no longer welcoming us now! Same with our closest ally and neighbor, Canada! And we've all heard the jokes about Mexico paying for the wall now to keep Americans out! This is an unbelievably low point in a history that has previously always strived to do the right thing! And I cringe to think that Andy Borowitz is right!

If it's ignored long enough, will it go away?? That seems to be the way Trump has handled most controversies, there's always a new and worse controversy to take the previous one's place. But this is as serous as it gets and we cannot afford to let this one go by...
