No matter who the republican is - from people like this to op-ed columnists for the NYT - they have to throw in an attack on the Democrats. This woman says that under normal circumstances she couldn't possibly vote for Biden.
Why? What about him or his policies do you object to?
Do you object to his being a faithfully married husband and devoted father? Would you rather he was a serial philanderer?
Do you object to his policies that address climate change? Perhaps you would prefer that his plan was to appoint lobbyists to cabinet secretary positions?
Do you object to his policies of inclusiveness and healing? Perhaps. Maybe she grants that he's inclusive when it comes to women but would prefer that he be a raging racists and Islamophobe?
Do you object to his infrastructure proposals? Or would she prefer to follow the Republican policies of the past 40 years of allowing American infrastructure to crumble.
What precisely is your problem with him? Maybe it's time to look inside at who you are and what you envision for this country than with bashing someone who has plan to make things better.
He's not perfect. He's made some awful decisions in the course of his political career. That's sucks, but it is par for the course when it comes to this sort of public service. And, sure, you can disagree with him on how he proposes to execute his policies, but that doesn't rise to the level of "under normal circumstances I couldn't possible vote for him."
People like this annoy me. Maybe they scare me as well. Law enforcement for 30 years. Obviously well spoken and apparently intelligent(ish). But she acknowledged Trump's character flaws in 2016 but voted for him anyway. I don't know what this person did in law enforcement, but I have to wonder about the many judgments she made about people over three decades.
I get it. Votes for Biden by Republicans count the same as votes for Biden by Democrats. But, still, these RVAT videos are both eye-opening and frightening.
