Trump Pressed On Russian Bounty Intel * Morning Joe ^ MSNBC
You'll notice I spelled "President" with a small p. I have done so, repeatedly, for this Oval Office occupant only.

(731 posts)...assessment and actionable analysis or something. Didn't Trump deny the issue when it first came out? Now that he's "out-ted" on the subject, he's giving his alibi here in real time once again but only for his base-goon consumption. He knows that his final fate and legacy will be a political one so this is his plausible deniability.

(6,749 posts)Whenever he says "many people say" and "fake news", that is coming directly from him. He never qualifies people with a name. Only trump minions use the "fake news" analogy.

(3,155 posts)even if the intel had never reached his desk -- and we can be fairly certain it not only did reach his desk but that it was brought directly to his attention more than once.
A real president would never, never, never do "both sides do it" about Putin's arms sales.
Even a rotten traitor would at the very least say he'd heard about the bounty and was very concerned about and would confront Putin in due time.
Even a high school student would not have claimed that our support of what became the Taliban to help drive the invading Russian Army out of Afghanistan is the same as Putin's current provision of weaponry to the Taliban.
Trump is a traitor. There's insufficient evidence to actually prefer charges against him, but it has been clear to me since his call on Russia to dig up Hillary's emails (which, in fact, they had done) that he's been in their pay, or at the very least under their thumb as a victim of blackmail, whether financial or sexual. He's a compromised sociopath who turns the away from evidence of Russian funded assassinations of Americans, who had a secret meeting in Helsinki with Putin that required the translators -- well, the American translators -- to destroy their notes afterwards.
I only wish I had total confidence in the vote and faith in the power of the people to make sure an election takes place in November.
