I don't want to be cavalier about deaths, but the survivors with long term health consequences are going to matter a whole lot more in the long run.

This would be a two-edged sword because of discrimination, but it would also put a face on how many among us are grappling with this horrible disease. If it encouraged more people to mask up, it would do the world a public service.

My heart and prayers go out to each and every one of these folks. It didn't have to be this way.
