2. Thug Hypocrisy

It’s a great piece, showing the abject hypocrisy on the right. But it also underscores how our side tends to just present the facts and let folks decide. We’re too smart and civil for our own good. The reason why the Lincoln Project ads are getting so much traction is they actually engage in negative labeling - HONEST labeling to be sure, but negative labeling , nonetheless. Our side seems to recoil from calling out Thugs for the liars, hypocrites, racists, grifters and cheats that they are, trying to lift the debate when study after study after study shows -unfortunately - that people respond to negative attack ads. The thugs have trashed the term liberal, and we just sit back and passively present facts, hoping that people have enough bandwidth to process all of this. With so much on the line in this election, we need to fight, and fight with every tool in the toolbox. And it’s way past time to call out the thugs for the liars, hypocrites, racists, grifters and cheats that they are.
