It really disturbs me
to hear someone say that committing immoral/illegal/democracy-destroying acts could ever be “smart” (the definition of not stupid).
No, that’s just wrong, wrong, wrong. Only someone who thinks that the means justify the ends in the service of one’s political ambitions could say such a thing—such a stupid thing.
