1. Where was Tapper when Forst LayDee

Maleria was questioning Barak Obama's birth as an American citizen, on TV?? How many first "ladies" have naked photos on line, for the world to google? How many first ladies have "I really don't care. Do U?" painted on the back of a jacket, when visiting kids in confinement? Michelle Obama gave a wonderful, impassioned speech for the soul of this country. Why condemn her for that? I expect Tapper to swoon over any speech Maleria or Ivanka gives, fluttering eyelashes, flashes of horse teeth. Why the double standard? It is long past time to take the gloves off when it comes to the abomination of this so-called "president". He is a disgrace, a failure of epic proportions. He has already destroyed so much of this country, ignoring the pandemic causing job losses, lives lost, evictions, bankruptcy, foreclosures. Has any member of this administration been to a food bank, seen the long lines of people waiting for food? Since nobody from the millionaire class is there, I guess they just ignore these disasters. Typical gop. "I got mine, screw you" However "Remember to vote, to keep the evil (D)'s out of power. In three long, long years, this administration has brought the once great USA to its' knees.

4. I didn't see any double standard.

I didn't see it as any kind of criticism of Michelle Obama. I think he was making a factual observation, it *was* unusual in the ways he described. Whether it's unusual-bad or unusual-good is a judgment any listener can make, but I did not get a sense that Tapper saw it as unusual-bad, nor did I get that sense from others who agreed witth his assessment in that video (Blitzer, Cooper, Axelrod, Henderson).
