You were with them all the way, George. Kind of late to the party, aren't you? bucolic_frolic Aug 2020 #3

But this is the result of 3 decades of Right Wingnut radio and Faux News corrupting the minds of the "base" of the new republican party.

The days of the "Country Club Republicans" who only were trying to extract wealth from the lower and middle class and give it to the upper class and really not into the anti-science, white nationalist, knuckle draggers and conspiracy theories is over, you all are not welcome in the GOP anymore.

And, just so you know... we will take your vote for Biden/Harris this election but don't think for a second that you will find a home with the Democratic Party.

For a quarter century any Republican politician who so much as suggested Rush Limbaugh didn't know everything or wasn't right about everything was on his show within 48 hours trying out for an Olympic medal in Backpedaling.

"Rush, I never said any such thing! The liberal media took my words out of context. You're a swell guy!"

Republicans -- and specifically Movement Conservatives -- have spent more than 40 years honing an easily-manipulated voter base that demanded purity and would turn on compromisers and backsliders. It's how you guys eliminated the Rockefeller Republicans as a force within the party.

His right wing ideological drivel has pummeled the New Deal for 40 years. He's so obtuse he doesn't know when to go home and STFU!
