3. I've been listening to Mary Trump's book in my car - have it on audio.

I'm only on disc #2, but I think that's exactly it. She said that her Dad, the eldest son, hated working for his father. She said that her Dad, her words, wasn't "a killer." So he got out and did something he loved for a living, became a commercial pilot. And his father, often quoted by Donald, called him "a bus driver in the sky." Donald learned his lessons well.

And I have always believed that his run for office was just his latest money making scheme - since all of his others had failed. He never wanted or intended to do the job, he only wanted those campaign contributions. But now that he has the job, he's become addicted to the attention and adoration from his demented "fans."
