McGahn was 1,000% behind Kavanaugh.

Another miserable anti-democracy authoritarian.

Michael Schmidt is saying exactly what you are saying. That McGahn stayed on the job precisely because he had this once in a lifetime opportunity to pack the courts, and he succeeded in doing that. Trump takes credit for it, but Don McGahn actually executed it. And he put up wih a boatload of crap in order to Stay on the job and accomplish that mission.

Schmidt also says McGahn was responsible from stopping Trump from carrying out some of his most damaging impulses, for example, firing Mueller. And Schmidt says that McGahn testified truthfully even when it hurt Trump. That may be why the Whitehouse is fighting his answering Congressional subpoenas.

'he put up with a boatload of crap?"... what crap?...he knew what Trump was before he signed on..he wasn't the "adult in the room"...he was an enabler...he threatened to quit and yet he didn't..he gave Trump cover.. justified all the insanity Trump was spewing...just like Kelly, Mattis and McMaster, McGahn is attempting to rebrand himself as one of the good guys when he, like the other "good guys" was a child-minder for a depraved sociopath...

No hero would make the compromises he made just to attain a goal of packing the courts. Neither Schmidt nor I think that makes him a hero. It just explains why he sold out.

stinks..think about that!...and he sold out?...what exactly did he sell out.. his integrity, his principles, his self respect?..he didn't go to work for that orange imbecile bc he was a righteous guy...he liked the garbage trump was vomiting up just like those three supposedly distinguished generals...but once they had the temerity to say "huh, what did he just say?"...he went after them with the reptilian vengeance of a playground bully and they were gone...and now comes the "no not me, I knew he was crazy all along" backtrack ...sorry doesn't work that way...

..."trying help the country by mitigating the tRump* damage". We are about to see a massive effort to rewrite, reframe and rebrand history. And this is McGahn*s initial effort. Bullshit is right.

McGahn* should be horsewhipped for each and every low-rent justice foisted on our country to support and reinforce his owner's political ideologies.
