Harris Faulkner is probably going to be the next host to do a swan dive off the Fox News garbage scow, while Shep Smith's wake is still fresh in the water. The scuttlebutt is that her eardrums are bursting from all the dogwhistle-foghorn shilling of Trump 'having done more for the African American community than anybody since Lincoln.'

In this segment, Newt 'Bling-daddy' Gingrich invokes goofy George Soros conspiracies. Faulkner blinks in disbelief, and one of the other hosts says "I don't think we have to invoke George Soros..." (Which is too absurd even for Fox, now?) To which Gingrich pissingly responds "...Alright, so it's verboten." Faulkner stews with contempt for a good ten seconds, which seems more like ten minutes, and then moves on in silence. HAH!

For those of you unfamiliar with the Alt-Right inverted universe that is only visible if you turn over a rock, in their world liberals are Nazis, and 'verboten' is the German word for 'forbidden.' They use the word whenever, in their opinion, 'liberal Nazis' want to shut down a conversation. (Don't bother reminding them that, in REAL world history the Nazis, Fascists, and Communists came for the liberals FIRST. It's part of their vocabulary, and they don't have anything else. So they're not likely to let it go.)

So, the talking marshmallow (Gingrich) apparently got her goat with that one. Could the Fox News Stockholm Syndrome finally be wearing off?

Thanks for the post. I don't have much context for this particular interview but I know that the conspiracy theorists and the QAnon crowd/the alt-right have long made George Soros as the leader of the cabal. Now that he's 90 years old and not as active, they've made Bill Gates as the leader of the devil worshiping, baby stealing, world-wide trafficking ring that have built tunnels underground. I'm glad that both of the ladies in this clip stated that they didn't think they needed to bring George Soros into it.
