Trump Supporters Disrupt Early Voting in Virginia

This is only going to get worse with Trump trying to get police and federal troops to back up his private militia. The polls will not matter if people are simply prevented or intimidated from voting.

Trump calls for law enforcement at the polls, prompting cries of voter intimidation

President Donald Trump said Thursday he wants to dispatch law enforcement officials to polling places in November to guard against voter fraud, even though it’s unclear whether he can legally do so.

Voting rights advocates have raised concerns that even if Trump’s idea doesn’t come to fruition, it could discourage some voters from heading to the polls. It’s the latest in a series of statements indicating Trump’s interest in influencing how people vote in the November presidential election.

“We’re going to have everything,” the president told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “We’re going to have sheriffs, and we’re going to have law enforcement, and we’re going to have, hopefully, US attorneys, and we’re going to have everybody and attorney generals.”

Federal law prohibits officials from sending “armed men” to “any place where a general or special election is held,” and only local officials have influence over police and sheriff’s deputies. But his messaging may inspire local action, and even the prospect of having figures of authority like police guarding polling places could have the effect of intimidating voters and discouraging them from turning out to vote.

If Trump is so great, why are his supporters resorting to disrupting votes? Why are they altering videos and pictures? Why are they not just focusing on the greatness of Trump? If he's as great as they claim, this election should be a cakewalk for them.

Anyone? Bueller?

The hypocrisy on the appointment of a Supreme Court Justice is just the latest example. It is just a matter of might makes right.

when you go vote. If they try this in Michigan they'll find themselves in the slammer. My polling place is literally across the street from my apartment and I'm going to make sure this shit doesn't happen on November 3. I'll be that busybody looking out of the window all day, lol.

Bringing a weapon into the building will earn you a close encounter with law enforcement
If you want to be a "Poll Watcher" you have to register with the COunty Elections office, swear an affadavit given by the Election Judge at the polling location, and wear a special identification badge. I have never had a "Poll Watcher" but the badges are included in the supplies box.

I am not running a voting location this time due to COVID but if I were, I would send one of my workers out to the line every so often and mingle with the voters to find out if anything is going on.

This is why folks have to vote as early as they can, particularly if they want to do so in-person.

multiple incidents of screaming at police officers at the Capitol. They haven't made a good impression on local law enforcement. Then they clogged up the street leading to the Capitol on a few occasions which blocked access to the largest hospital in the area which is about 7 blocks from the Capitol. The LEOs I saw interviewed on the news seemed to take a dim view of them. No such outbursts by BLM/Antifa.

Seriously, they can't find any person at all competent enough to simply read the copy? Many times these clickbait YouTube vids use stock footage to beef up their productions. I think I saw Big Ben of London England in there.
