They have been convinced that they are truly the protectors and anointed saviors of the Republic. They believe that anyone who questions the ridiculous utterances of their leader are traitors. It is an impossible situation to attempt to convince them that they are being misled.

This is the power of propaganda and which many have vainly attempted to counteract only to find that it is a virtually impossible venture. As many have observed it is a situation that is analogous to what transpired in Germany and led to disastrous conclusion. It was only were their cities lay in ruin that they awakened to the fact that they had been naively led into ruination. The players in this tragedy is only one of many similar consequences when people sacrifice their objectivity and freedoms for what they have been convinced by charlatans that they are sole protectors against undefined bogus threats.

Those who are adherents and uncompromising followers are being compromised by a variety of various interest groups ranging from plutocrats who are driven by greed, politicians who are dependent of exploiting their offices to religious fanatics who are convinced that their mission is divinely inspired. Everyone of these are willing to sacrifice the fellow citizens freedoms for their own selfish gains.

losing just doesn't compute. His ego-addled brain refuses to believe people don't love and adore him. If he doesn't win he's going to kick, scream, and hold his breath until he turns blue. Starting with a brilliant orange face could definitely exacerbate the turning blue part.

We're going to see a toddler tantrum never before witnessed by the American people. He has absolutely no sense of shame, no compassion, no dignity, no honesty and no class. He's the most empty human being I've ever observed.

It's almost like they are giving him permission to break the law and to steal the election.

What did they think Trump would say? He's always going to take it to the extreme and this is what he did by answering that question.

Every time he pushes the envelope - he gets away with things. Because he's being asked questions like this he feels that people will expect this kind of behavior from me - so I might as well do it.

it just peels away another thin slice of wavering Republican voters.

Just when the GOP thinks they can turn the election into a referendum on SCOTUS instead of a referendum on Trump, he doubles down with some new piece of psycho nonsense that other Republicans will now have to defend. He’s stuck at 42-43% and he has just a few weeks left to win back moderate voters who could be persuaded to give him a second chance. Instead he’s saying “if you don’t want violence, cancel the election.” It’s insane. His hardcore support is maxed out, all he’s going to do is turbocharge the rest of the electorate against him.

(Plus I think I’d rather have him loudly telegraphing his crazy plans than sneaking up on us with them at the last minute.)

Please, oh please, let it be true that this latest wanna be dictator for life DOES turbocharge all of us who are in opposition to him, his enablers, and their agenda!!!! May we become such a juggernaut, that we flatten them and their horrid plans FOREVER! I can see why most of us are jittery. We thought that Hillary Clinton would certainly win in the last election. Instead, through Russian interference and Republiturd cheating, we got Agolf Twitler. I doubt any of us will completely relax until we know the results for sure, and we have flushed The Turd on November 3rd.

avid support for tRump.

The 17 year old in Kenosha is a good example. He had a front row seat at a tRump rally not long before he murdered 2 people and severely injured another.

Then there's the Nazi rally where Heather Heyer was murdered by a tRump supporter who plowed his vehicle into a group of peaceful protesters. tRump called the Nazis good people after that one.

I recall early in his term how a couple of people on a bus or trolley were defending a couple of Muslim women from a knife wielding tRump supporter. One of them was killed. Remember how his campaign was filled with fear rhetoric for people of Muslim faith? There are many more incidents, these are just a couple.

So far he's been able to say whatever he wants and take no responsibility for the death caused because of it. Kind of like with Covid19.

favored by Republicans, immature people and teenagers.

'Your stinkin' rules don't apply to me!'

But giving yourself permission to ignore the rules, usually backfires. Just ask the guy who has given himself permission to drink and drive, or go well over the speed limit. Or those who have chosen to think COVID-19 concerns don't apply to them.

If Trump thinks he can nullify the voting and transfer of power by just ignoring them, he has some bad karma coming his way.

Trump is well out in the open with his disdain of the Constitution, people of color, due political process, the voting system, etc, that some Republicans (at least the ones that aren't totally brain dead) must have objections to.

EDIT: I no longer trust the Media. Any media. They are tagging along with Trump's insanity to gain headlines. Objective reporting and asking the hard questions has gone out the window. They are feeding the Beast just to get a headline.

I think that since his administration has upset all the norms, then as a Nation we must recognize the need to protect our Country.

1. Invalidate all Pardons that Trump has given or plans to give.
2. Do everything possible to determine if Trump is an agent of Russia - and act.
3. Given that he is trying to incite insurrection in the Nation - put him on trial post election, provide a trial and convict, and then reopen Alcatraz and intern him and Barr.
4. All members of his Cabinet should be charged with sedition, take their wealth and intern at previous location.
5. People that had a senior position in his government that are not natural born citizens should lose their citizenship and be deported, after severing time.
6. The most important thing that we as citizens should be is Ostracize those that made this nightmare possible.
