Related: About this forumA 15 Minute, Slow, Low-Energy Speech To 200 People? To Quote Trump "He's SHOT."
Mango Mussolini gave a political rally from the balcony of the White House today. He tried hard to hide it, but HE'S SHOT!
When was the last time you ever saw Trump give a 15 minute rally? He usually goes on a continuous two hour unhinged display of word salad, complete with lots of hand waving and walking around. This time, he was low key, spoke slowly, had an anguished look on his face, sounded congested, and quit after 15 minutes. He'll probably get better, but at the moment, HE'S SHOT.
Compare today's rally to a classic Trump rally (below). The contrast is shocking. (Yeah, the top one is a Fox video. Sorry about that.)

(13,623 posts)I ever had, I was close to 100% that far out. I could probably hawk up a lunger if I tried, but I was fine. Plus I was never hospitalized. I have only seen a doctor with a severe cold of flu because our work policy made me if I missed three days or more. That was twice in two years. I was pissed I had to pay the copay or out of pocket just for that.
Has anyone done any kind of estimate on hospital bills that will never be paid because of this? It might be a great time to be a bankruptcy lawyer. Trump and his followers spreading this are responsible for billions.

(86,804 posts)And watched about five minutes, two at the beginning and the rest near the end of both videos. So, historically he's always sniffing and trying to keep something up his nose. Now, since his positive test revelation, he's a mouth breather and he tries to hide it and probably some pain as well. I suppose he might collapse in the coming week or so.
One can only hope.

(7,767 posts)We NEED Trump to have a Bob Dole circa 1996 falling off the stage moment which will finish him off. I can see him having a bad reaction when he tries to do one in south Florida in that extreme heat and humidity. I had pneumonia a few years ago and trying to perform outside was touch and go and I was in my upper 50's not 75 like Trump. Like you said 2na, we can only hope.

(7,434 posts)Contrary to what Ive read here and other sites, Trump delivered a speech that was concise and coherent. He read nearly all of it. He wasnt, IMO, lethargic or low energy. I thought its short length made it more effective. Lets see how he does from here. I suspect he cant go for much longer than 20 minutes, but Ive been mistaken before.
Ive been reading other posters comments that surmise that this positive COVID result and the subsequent sickness was all manufactured, and that hell make a dramatic comeback in WWE fashion. Thats in the back of my head.

(3,212 posts)I thought it was just bad allergies at first.
And I've only had the flu twice in the last 20 years or so.
Anyway, this aint the flu.
He may be suffering multiple issues the rest of his little life.
It also affects the brain.
Which is why my friend says it really is a zombie virus.
Ha. Maybe the "asymptomatic" carriers actually become a little more reckless?
You know the cat parasite Toxoplasma can affect human behavior in some ways.
And hookworm and other parasites can affect intelligence.
Hmmm. I wonder.
Oh well.

(14,176 posts)I can imaging historians a hundred years from now, if we make it, going over his speech transcripts in disbelief. Not just what he says but the disorderly word salad way he speaks will look even more awful on official historical document papers
