And I think it's time to think about what that might mean, and what America might look like in that case. I and others have posted about this issue - the De-united states of America - and we're generally dismissed and mocked for any number of probably very valid reasons.

But. . . it might also be too glib to say that we could not survive another four years without exploring what that means.

And even if Joe wins, it's not as if the cultish 40% are going away (even if we hope that trump and family do go away, to the Big House). They will continue to promote chaos, either because it's a long-term, profitable gig and/or because certain foreign powers are directing them to do so. Sure, Joe promotes unity like no one else, and it might just work - take a look at this post about the Qasim Rashid rally in Virginia - https://www.democraticunderground.com/100214316705. But to ignore alternative scenarios is foolish.
