1. If Everybody Would Just Get Out and Vote, We Could Find Our Way Out of This Mess

And into the dawn of a bright new day under the presidency of Joe Biden. It may be scary for those who have received those threatening emails and letters, but that's what we have to do. We must hold steady in our faith in the power of the vote, which is, after all, the bedrock foundation of our democracy. I voted in person, in spite of the COVID risk, and my relatively advanced age does put me in a high risk bracket, but I felt like echoing the words of Nathan Hale: I regret that I have but one life to give for the sake of my country. We just have to accept the fact that Trump and his minions of co-conspirators, both domestic and foreign, are going to be muddying the waters and scaring and confusing people, especially Democrats, when they are voting.
