But for some reason, we didn't put together the right assemblage of parts in 2016. HRC, despite her resume, could not find the tone and moral authority that Joe Biden commands today. I think it was mostly a gender issue, and the decades of GOP attacks because of her 1993 Health Care initiative, and later attacks manufactured by the GOP. Gingrich and RushWorld carried on for 25 years after all.
Biden's career has been workmanlike and with only minor controversies that blew over. Biden must have managed his staff extraordinarily well because there was never crazy stuff coming from his office. The PR always made good common sense. That's why Trump had to try to have dirt manufactured overseas. Joe Biden despite his several decades of high level officeholder, still has his feet planted on firm ground and is viewed as an ordinary guy with working class roots. Hope Michael Moore doesn't have a meltdown.
