The outlandish promises no longer warm the heart.

The speaking in tongues he does now just confuses people.

The 'It is all about me!' attitude he projects is now seen as offensive.

His inner circle of devotees now look at him sideways, and ask each other 'What have we done? It was never going to end well!'

And the rallies?
It's Trump being Trump, being the center of attention, making loud noises that signify nothing. A pointless exercise, a nothingburger.

Time to pack up the snake oil salesman's wagon, and move out of here! Hitch up the ponies Donald and leave, before the citizens with pitchforks arrive.
