There are still some things that bother me. I don't like it when people wear American flag face masks. I think it is disrespectful.

I was a Girl Scout and my son was Life Scout (just below Eagle). He left because of time restraints of Marching Band in HS. Anyway, I just cringe when people wear flag shorts, halter tops, use flag table cloths, napkins, bath mat - all kinds of commercial use. If you love the flag so much why are you sitting on it? Oh, but they LOVE the flag. Just hate people kneeling for the anthem. Don't tell me how patriotic you are and misuse our symbols and deny people the right to vote and you fly a confederate flag anywhere near our country's flag.

It takes a lot of time. I don't know how my son did it. He did have friends helping, though.

We had his Eagle Scout court of honor at our church. A lot of people helped with that, too. Quite a few people showed up.
