6. I am old enough to remember a time when there were doctors

who would never tell a patient he or she was dying. But IIRC, that wasn't so much in diagnosing a condition which could be treated, as when death was imminent. That's not what this is an example of.

Not that I approve of the practice regardless of the circumstances. If you don't have a right to know you are dying, what do you have a right to know?

7. It's not that he thinks we aren't smart enough, or tough enough....

it's because he's lazy. Taking on this virus all the way to the conclusion (defeating the virus, not, as Trump thinks, everyone dies from it) is work. A LOT of work. It's work that would take up a majority of his time, and as we all know, Trump likes to spend his time golfing, or better yet, traveling around the country preaching to his choir of zombified simpletons for the applause he so desperately needs. Trump is lazy. He likes all the trappings of being president, most importantly the power it commands, but he certainly doesn't want to put in the work. He wants to play. He's a spoiled little boy, in every respect.

10. LP is doing a lot of heavy lifting in this election.

While I realize that they are all Republicans, and one day, they will be at odds with Democrats, I truly believe that they are Old School Republicans. Remember those? Ones with whom you have fundamental differences, but you can work with them?

Seems like 100 years ago.
