1. it's so completely how I feel

...and I don't even have kids. And I'm black, but too damn light-skinned to be intentionally mistreated by police or by racists in general. I have a good job and am blessed to work from home now. I'm going broke because I can afford too-expensive InstaCart and Grubhub. A am high-risk for COVID but all my family and friends are very careful and always wear their masks (hell, I MAKE masks) so I don't know of anyone we've lost to the virus (please GOD, never).

But these last 10 months - these last 4 years - have been HELL for anybody who gives a damn about anyone or anything. And I give a damn, and so do all of you.

So yeah. Van Jones gets on my last nerves sometimes, but watching this, I was crying right along with him.
