(205,237 posts)I just checked out Amazon and it said the book could be "pre-ordered." The same was true with Bob Woodward's book which I ordered.

(205,237 posts)My point about the Bob Woodward book was that it seems to be the way they do things now, have the author make the rounds publicizing it to build up anticipation well before it's available.

(205,237 posts)But we do know that POTUS is a very exclusive club and new presidents (normal ones, that is) regularly turn to their more experienced predecessors for advice and guidance. And we know that Biden and Obama have a particularly close relationship, so we're likely to see and hear more from him, and certainly a return to many Obama-Biden policies.

(205,237 posts)Obama chose Biden because of his years of experience and now that it's Biden's turn to lead, he has Obama's experience as president to guide him.

(205,237 posts)But I'm guessing that accepting a Supreme Court nomination is unlikely, based on what I remember about New York Governor Mario Cuomo. It was offered to him and he declined because serving would have prohibited him from speaking out on the issues.
