'Hygge' Danish Ritual, Enjoying Life's Pleasures, Danes Ranked the World's Happiest People

The Danes are ranked as the world's happiest people. Hygge may have something to do with it. Difficult to sum up in one word, "hygge" is a Danish ritual of enjoying life's pleasures. Comfort, contentment, coziness.

I have friends in Denmark, whom I visit as often as I can, and learned first-hand about Hygge! And continue to learn more about it every time I visit.

The opening shots from Tivoli Gardens brought back many fond memories.

this video! So comforting, healthy and cozy. Happiest nation in the world, no wonder.

My sister and brother travelled to Denmark and Sweden to visit twin brother Swedish friends, very nice guys I met in NY.

They took many great photos- with the Little Mermaid, and talked about the Tivoli Gardens, sunbathing in a park in Stockholm because it was up to 75 degrees in August, LoL.

My sister loves Scandi culture, I've seen Germany and a lot of Europe but not Amsterdam and the Nordics yet.

I love Greta Thunberg and her cute, designed clothes.
