When one sees good journalism on mainstream media in real-time, it gives hope. @FareedZakaria did just that as he checked Niall Ferguson (@nfergus), making a false equivalence.

1. Niall Ferguson is pathetic

I heard this on CNN radio this morning and was appalled. He is trying to gaslight folks into thinking Trump is one of the great politicians of all time. When you are helped by a foreign enemy, commit criminal acts that went totally unchecked, have a Senate that was completely impotent (probably because it was intimidated and threatened by Trump), and use social media to tell whopper after whopper of lies, my dog could be a better "politician" than Trump.

Mr. Ferguson probably gave rave reviews to Hitler for "having the pulse of the German people in the 1930s and 1940s." What an idiot.

He is a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford. Think about that for a second: Stanford hosts an institute to commemorate the President who led this country into the Great Depression. Just think about the absurdity.
