Why Is Lindsey Graham Saying Biden's AG Must Not Investigate Trump? Here is One Big Clue . . .

In a shocking display of impropriety, Senator Lindsey Graham vows that no Attorney General nominated by Biden will be confirmed by the Senate if the nominee intends to investigate Trump's crimes. Why in the world would a sitting senator try to use his position to shield Trump from all criminal accountability?

Here is a review of what Lindsey Graham said about Trump BEFORE Graham told CNN his emails were hacked by Russia and what he said about Trump AFTER his emails were hacked by Russia. This is what we career prosecutors would call . . . a clue.

unprincipled, power-mad, money-grubbing weasels. When I hear people say Rs need to get a backbone, I think it's not a lack of backbone to support someone who will further your agenda, which Trump has done for Rs, even if they'd rather be more sneaky about it.

That the entire Republican Party is deeply, deeply compromised by Russian money and kompromat at county, state and federal levels.

It’s SO bad, that they can never allow a Democratic President with the means, power and resources to investigate.

While they've riled up their base and created fears about Democrats’ policies, that does not credibly or, in the least, explain their flagrant disregard for our long institutionalized norms or the laws that reflect them. Not in the least. There's more to their taking the levels of risk they are today, and have since Trump was elected. The only credible explanation I can come up with is Trump has a huge hammer, compliments of Putin, with which many if nor most Rs can and are being threatened; that is, blackmailed. The Rs are literally afraid for their lives, or at least their lives as they know and live them now. Everything is at risk for them should the stuff that Putin/Trump have over them come out -- especially in a court of law. That's the only thing that makes all of this sensible in my mind.

instance. I thought I had typed “Democrats’ “. Made that correction. We are Democrats. Why not take ownership over our “policies”?

For a sitting president no less. The idea we can't continue to investigate the most corrupt administration since Reagan is a bit laughable, even for dispshit Graham.

as a reminder, but I seem to remember a certain House member at the time from South Carolina who was a main cog in that $100 mil witch hunt for all crimes "Clinton" by the pubbies, one Lindsey Graham. Ever the hypocritical ass that he is. (Is he the only one left in Congress that was part of that particular 'hit squad'? I don't remember - though what I do remember is a number of them leaving office in disgrace within a number of years.)

for vulnerabilities and zeroed in on how individual lawmakers financed their political careers. Later the GRU coupled oligarch funneled donations with clandestine technology, and ended up with compromising enough powerful GOP members to support their Putin puppet way beyond their wildest dreams. We now have a government riddled with traitors who support power over the constitution, and dictatorship over democracy. The damage that has already been done has to be detailed, analyzed and excised if our true potential is to be realized. Just a thought.
