(3,211 posts)The Lincoln Project socially moderate to liberal, fiscally conservative people with a strong (and respectable) intellectual bent.
If they had to be classified in today's terms, they'd probably be blue dog Democrats. Maybe even to the left of that on some issues.
They are so effective that I'm almost fearful of them bringing those hard-hitting moves back to bear on us as the Trump thing fades and they can return to their nominal status as "noble opposition" to Dems.
I'm love/hate with Lincoln Project actors. I love wat they're doing to Trump and Trumpers, but I hate the fact that they support a party and political orientation that is oppressive and backward thinking (even though they aren't backward thinking in today's environment).

Crushing them is the only way, I am glad these guys are fighting for democracy.

Glad to have them lead the way.

Now I think we may never see the return to political normalcy in my lifetime. (mid 60's).
