She said that it shook her faith so it must've been devastating for her. I had to remind myself that she was Beau's stepmom. This tells you how close that family is.

Of course, we know that Colbert feels the same way that we do, but it still was a warm and reassuring conversation. I really enjoyed it, actually made me feel better about the future.

not to mention ALL his other great qualities that immensely qualify him as a highly experienced and competent leader. His empathy, compassion and calmness is exactly what we need right now.
