How Trump's Pardons Of Russia Figures Could Backfire If He Is Prosecuted - Rachel Maddow - MSNBC

Andrew Weissmann, former lead prosecutor for Robert Mueller, talks with Rachel Maddow about how pardoned individuals can be compelled to testify where the Fifth Amendment no longer applies, which could mean people like Roger Stone and Paul Manafort being called to testify if prosecutors pursue a case against Donald Trump. Aired on 12/23/2020.

How Trump Could Set Back Covid Relief For Weeks Just By Doing Nothing - Rachel Maddow - MSNBC

Rachel Maddow explains how a "pocket veto" could doom a Covid relief bill for weeks if Donald Trump doesn't take a break from golfing at Mar-a-Lago to clean up the mess he made by injecting himself into the negotiation process after both parties, both chambers, and Trump's own representative had already agreed to the terms of the bill. Aired on 12/23/2020.

Trump Defunds Military Even As He Muses About Martial Law And Rattles U.S. Saber - Rachel Maddow - MSNBC

Rachel Maddow points out that by vetoing the National Defense Authorization Act, Donald Trump has essentially defunded U.S. troops, though that hasn't stopped him from entertaining ideas about imposing martial law to override his election loss or attacking Iran. Aired on 12/23/2020.

Trump Signals Extremist Supporters With Martial Law Talk; Promises 'Wild' D.C. Protest

The first one could probably have stood alone, but then the others were all her analysis on what happened just on Wednesday. And you know that she explains the issues so clearly that it's easy for the rest of us to understand. And it's pretty scary - the possible "pocket veto" of the coronavirus bill - if Trump just does nothing - and his refusal to sign off on funding the military while at the same time calling for martial law. It's scary as hell - and, as Rachel explained, unprecedented.

The most important points she made I think are in video #2. As usual, she explains a complicated issue so clearly that anyone can understand it. :fistump:
