Heres a look at how America is making many of the same mistakes with COVID in 2020 as it did with the Spanish Flu in 1918.

2. We DON'T learn from history.

When most people think about history they think a little about cowboys and Indians, maybe parading around in World War II uniforms (at least for reenactors) and the cr*p we were spoon fed by Hollywood.

I admit I had a chance to ask people about the Spanish Flu from people who were alive back then, but not only was I a clueless kid back then, but Id assumed that if the world ever faced something like the Spanish Flu again, wed have it licked before it got started.

3. crazy that the media IGNORES the history ofthe spanish flu in milwaukee under a SOCIALIST MAYOR.

he closed EVERYTHING down. even bars in WISCONSIN! churches. milw is full of churches.no school. and we had a handful of deaths. but he also had this thing called german progressive movement + good govt. started w/ sewers. WE had sewers + CHICAGO used its river.
