140 House Republicans expected to oppose Biden's win (CNN)

Two Republican members of the House of Representatives tell CNN that they expect at least 140 of their GOP colleagues in the House to vote against counting the electoral votes on January 6 when Congress is expected to certify President-elect Joe Biden's victory.

If any number of Rethuglican's sign on to the protest, they will establish a precedent where every Presidential election will be challenged in the Congress.

The first time both houses of Congress are controlled by the opposing party from the winner of the election, the Electoral College vote will be set aside. At that point, the Presidential election will be a quadrennial exercise in futility.
