This is the SoP for V&M. Welcome to DU! 
Statement of Purpose
Post videos, images, or any other multimedia content about politics, issues, and current events. No posts about Israel/Palestine, religion, guns, showbiz, or sports unless there is really big news. No conspiracy theories. No whining about DU.
But there are 2 forums for music, both Music Appreciation and Musicians - plus The Lounge is always popular for music videos since it's a non-political forum. I used to be a host for V&M, that's all, when DU.3 first started, so I knew the answer to your question.
I've been here since 2003 and used to be a DU.2 mod, so got used to answering questions. And I remember when I was new, I got confused at all the different forums - and there weren't all that many back then.
