(295 posts)don't know where offhand, but I recall reading something about her rubbing her eyes with an onion hidden in the towel. either way, I'm sure we'll see more tears of despair once she's arraigned.

(1,580 posts)Onions take out the sting of tear gas. So she knew enough to bring the onion.

(831 posts)I wondered why her eyes weren't red and bloodshot like most people when they get maced. So not only is she a seditionist, she is a kabuki seditionist.

(42,862 posts)I blame Youth Soccer and the "everyone is a winner" ... "a trophy for everyone" mentality. People like Elizabeth from Knoxville are the sad results of that failed experiment.

(6,208 posts)I doubt that Ms. Entitled ever kicked a soccer ball in her life. My best guess is very few kids in rec soccer learned insurrection and rioting from their participation trophies.

She is one of the first casualties of Civil War Part Two. Tear gas will do that to you. Next time it might be 5.56 mm rounds.

(3,149 posts)Prosecutor: Elizabeth from Knoxville, tell the court what you told the reporter as you were stumbling around outside the Capitol Building
Elizabeth: I told him I was Elizabeth from Knoxville and that we were storming the Capitol and that it was a revolution.
Lawyer: Oops. I guess Ill be changing that plea now, from not guilty to fruit loopy crazy.
I guess she didnt realize that the revolution had failed and the government she attacked wasnt going to be very sympathetic to what she and her cro-magnon compadres had tried to do -- almost accomplished doing -- to its legislature and the historic building in which they work.
Would the judge in a sedition trial have discretion in sentencing? 10 years may be a bit stiff for Elizabeth from Knoxville, although 10 years with all but 3 suspended might be fair.
