I suppose most everyone his age was, but he was disappointed in getting sent to the pacific. He wanted to fight nazis.

Wow. It did say the war deeply effected him and he often wrote about death. I guess it’s really like that in war, people die in battle all the time but also from other things all the time. Luck or some decision can change history or end a life at the drop of a hat. (Or crate. Sorry)

Season 4, Episode 4: "He's Alive". Around 1960, a tiny neo-Nazi organization struggles pathetically to succeed in a big city. A mysterious figure begins to ruthlessly guide a young, insecure U.S. Nazi leader, and the group begins to draw more attention.

Available on Hulu and CBS All Access, but Netflix does not have Season 4.
