1. Donald trump filling the role of "charismatic leader" shows that these people will rally around anyone with a pulse.

2. This is NOT the disenfranchised fringe. IT IS NOT! It is retired military, flower shop owners, lawyers, legislators, IT managers, people with enough money to be buying Kate Spade phone cases, police and firefighters etc. These are not people on the edge. These are not people with an axe to grind. These are simply monstrously entitled middle class white men who hate women and black people for not obeying them any more.

3. Corporate America is NOT doing its part. Corporate America should not even be part of this conversation. They should not be able to decide who gets elected based on who they back. THAT is at the most fundamental cause of the problem. Citizens United brought this on. Corporate America can only be trusted as far as their actions are profitable.
