1. title sounds great

but a minute in, it's clear he's doing bothsidesism.

2. Yeah, he says, "let's not equate right wing violence with left wing"

... which is correct: violent overthrowing of the government is worse than side-effect protest looting.

But then he starts off by saying that the "social justice" of the left is way out here, just like the people who can't figure out Trump is lying are way out there?

3. Seems like he's trying

to think through a complicated issue. The line that struck me was "derangement by disinformation", not excusing the insurrectionists but trying to grasp their motivation, as twisted as it was.
