I had started listening to a recording of that before and never got to that part so when you replied I finally listened to the whole thing. Funny that that's the only part they play during the presentation of colors. I'd been listening to so many of these marches it felt like I was at the circus!

This is probably the best known of the fanfares not composed by John Philip Sousa - who pretty much defined the official/military fanfare sound (and why they tend to sound so similar).

Ah, memories of marching band.
