She's really come into her own. And her gift is that she can explain the most complicated issue so that anyone can understand it. I still remember her debut on MSNBC. She was the substitute host for Keith Olbermann and started out kinda nervous, but by the end of the show she was just fine. I watched it with the KOEB group here on DU and we were all rooting for her!

4. Yes, Rachel is my favorite political pundit. I like several of the shows on MSNBC at night,

but I really try to never miss Rachel’s show at 9 pm. I appreciate her style and choice of topics to cover. She chooses informative guests, and she speaks with them one on one, rather than having a panel of guests like most of the hosts on other shows. She likes to laugh, too, and often finds some humor in unexpected places.

5. I like them all, too, learn a lot from all of them

But Rachel helps us put things into perspective, goes out of her way to make sure we understand what's going on - and she can be very entertaining, too. Her "hand-off" to Lawrence O'Donnell could be a show all on its own. I also appreciate her humor.

8. Yes, I love her and Lawrence's interactions at the end of the show, always interesting.

Lawrence will sometimes ask her a question, and I love watching him while she answers it. It’s obvious how much respect he has for her and her comments.

9. A couple of weeks ago he was having Constitutional law professor Laurence Tribe on his show

And during the "hand-off" Rachel gave Lawrence a question to ask him - whether the impeachment vote had to include all senators or only those who were present at the time. So Lawrence asked him - and we all learned something. And the next day she acted kind of sheepish when he praised her for helping us understand how all that worked.

I remember when Rachel first started her show, it was totally amazing to me that someone could be so brilliant at discussing politics, making it both understandable and fascinating. I really thought she should win the Time Magazine Person of the Year (and still do).

And they're using her to their best advantage when she's part of the team that they put together to report breaking news - with Nicolle Wallace, Joy Reid and Brian Williams. They all shine on those evenings but I noticed tonight that they continued with Rachel alone. And that team has been great for Brian Williams, too. I was just discussing him with someone earlier today - the degree that he's been speaking out! The others have been a great influence!

I had a job about an hour commute from where I lived the time and my schedule was 1p.m.-10p.m. She came on my radio station at around 10 p.m. when I was off and driving home. (I'd assume it was recorded earlier). I really looked forward to listening to her. She had a side kick named Kent. I think he may even be one of her writers now on her show but I'm not sure.

IMHO, she's the absolute best!

Several of our favorites started there, especially Rachel and Al Franken! And she's not only an entertaining guest, but she manages to "educate" on whatever show she's on. I remember when she'd appear with David Letterman, who claimed to know nothing about politics, and he used to call her "the smartest person in the world."

I was so upset by those claims of sexual assault a couple of years ago, and his forced resignation from the Senate. That whole escapade was a right wing set up to get him out, he was too smart and astute for the Republicans’ liking. One of the funniest books I ever read was his: Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot.

And I loved his radio show, as well. It used to be broadcast later at night on TV - Sundance showed it and I'd watch it then. That entire episode was obviously bogus, he was usually the smartest guy in the room and wasn't afraid to challenge the lies. And he was entertaining! And one of the most unforgivable aspects of the way he was treated was that he got so little support from those who were supposed to be on our side! And I'm including my own senator (and former congresswoman) in that.

He begged for an investigation, but they didn’t give him that courtesy. That whole episode made our side look weak, disloyal and dumb. We got rid of one of our best and brightest Senators because of dirty trucks by the other side.

15. I really don't understand it since he was one of our best and brightest!

We sure could have used him during these past 4 years, but that was certainly the reason he was targeted. And I don't understand where Gillibrand was coming from at all. She's not only my senator, but was my congresswoman here in NY-20. And we were so grateful when she won, turned this district blue after pretty much a lifetime of Republican representation. But she didn't do it alone, she had the guidance of the Clintons, and I still believe that what made the difference was when President Clinton came to the district to campaign for her! I was there and it was quite a phenomenon, a former president here in our district! There was standing-room-only and President Clinton is one brilliant speaker! And yet, when she's been asked, Kirsten Gillibrand has said that he should have been removed from office because of the Monica Lewinsky scandal. But he was instrumental in getting her elected in 2006!
