A former follower of the QAnon movement tells CNN's Don Lemon how she came to believe in the movement and ultimately decided to leave.

Of anyone and everything that led her down the prim rose path to embrace conspiracy theories as her reality. She takes no responsibility for being stupid and too lazy to fact check all the propaganda garbage she used to self radicalize.

9. She did mention the Capitol attack as a reason

It's a good insight into why personality cultists tend to be such suckers when somebody offers them an alternative cult.

I lost friends in 2008 when Hillary lost to Obama and those friends went full bore Tea Party and then GOP. They were also personality cultists who saw their idol lose, so don't think this is limited to Bernie Sanders cultists.

I hope this woman has stepped back from the deep end, at least until she fixates on another personality who loses. I'm just not all that optimistic about the longevity of her deconversion.

It isn't exculpatory to explain you weren't of a right mind when you did it -- unless you want to get a psychiatrist or another expert to declare you mentally incapacitated and you're ready to be committed indefinitely.

Demonstrated media literacy should be a requirement to graduate high school, get admitted into college and be accepted into the U.S. military. We can't survive if we can't tell shit from Shinola, like Linka.

does she just seem like any of the easily-duped, kind of dim, angry people out there. It doesn't seems like such a mystery to me.

8. Here is another example. Sanders was not picked on yet Sanders allowed supporters to believe

and even more encouraged, every race he lost yelled cheating. he played it just like Trump did. Sanders never stepped up and said, no one was picking on him. He just did not do it. To this day he allows the belief the only reason he lost was the Dems cheated because they preferred their lifelong Democrat to win.
